Esoterica Fade Cream Review – Is it Worth Using Despite the Adverse Effects?

Just like many other fade creams in the market, Esoterica Fade Cream comes with the promise of reducing any skin discolorations caused by skin trauma, pigmentation, aging, oral pills, pregnancy, and other reasons. It works as a bleaching agent for the skin by preventing the reactions of enzymes responsible for melanin production. However, there are precautions that should be considered before using this type of product because some of its main ingredients can lead to particular health hazards.

Adverse effects

Some mild side effects associated with the use of Esoterica Fade Cream include dryness and cracking of skin, especially in areas around the eyes and nose, as well as reddening and mild burning sensation at the site of application. These common side effects are only mild, but can be bothersome.

Severe side effects may also be experienced. The list includes severe allergic reactions, including rashes, hives, tightness in the chest, difficulty in breathing, and swelling of the face, mouth, lips or tongue. Additionally, blistering, excessive redness, blue-black skin, irritation and stinging may also occur.

Active ingredients

Esoterica Fade Cream contains hydroquinone, which is also its main active ingredient. The substance is clinically thought to be linked to the dermatologic adverse effects cited as well as others like exogenous ochronosis and dermatitis. There are also other side effects caused by hydroquinone that may still be unknown, but the ones mentioned here are the highly common ones.

Cancer-causing properties

Octyl Dimethyl PABA (Padimate O), also an active ingredient of Estorica, along with Benzophenone and Hydroquinone, has its own share of side effects. Padimate O is a derivative of the PABA sunscreen ingredient and has been proven (by research) to release certain free radicals (causes cancer), cause allergic reactions, damage DNA and have estrogenic activity. The use of this chemical is restricted in cosmetics, limiting its concentration. In addition, cellular level changes may also occur, causing cell death and cardiovascular implications.

General precautions

Aside from these, Estorica Fade Cream is also not recommended for nursing and pregnant women, as well as for children under 12 years. People who have certain medicinal, substance, and food allergies are also advised not to use this cream. Some medicines may also interact with it; whether the reactions are negative or positive is still to be determined.

Advantage Or Disadvantage of Sunscreen

Summer is coming. Many women are worried about their skin, but how should we go to protect our skin? I guess most people will choose use the sunscreen, but is it really healthy for our skin or not?

Slathering on sunscreen at the first hint of sunshine has become commonplace - we're far more sun safety conscious than a decade ago and spend a lot of money a year on products designed to ward off the sun's rays.

Despite this, cases of skin cancer are continuing to rise and the main cause remains overexposure to the sun. Could it be that the creams we use, or misuse, can cause as many problems as they attempt to solve?

Some experts have found the chemicals used to deactivate UV rays (most commonly cinnamates, benzophenones and amino benzoic acid) react adversely with sunlight when they are absorbed, possibly causing DNA damage.

Concern has also been raised about the chemical preservatives used in sunscreens, and other ingredients, seeping through the top layer of the skin.

A Swedish study found benzophenone-3 (or B-3), a popular sunscreen ingredient, in the urine of people who had applied no more than the recommended dose of sunscreen up to 48 hours before.

Studies have shown that tomatoes, which are rich in antioxidants and the lycopene, could prove a weapon against sun damage.

Undoubtedly, though, the best advice and the most important factor in fighting sun damage and skin cancer is our own sun behaviour.

And that means wearing a hat and finding a tree whenever it gets hot. It is the easiest way to protect our skin. The love for beauty is a nature of all human beings, so don' get its opposite when you do something. Everyone should choose some ways which suitable themselves, and then we will be successful.
